As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Cloud Engineer in our FlexHub team.
Your tasks:
Designing and deploying scalable and efficient cloud applications;
Writing and running unit and integration tests;
Troubleshooting and debugging issues across the application stack;
Continuously improving software development processes and practices using latest industry trends;
Working using Agile development methodologies to ensure rapid and iterative delivery of high-quality software;
Maintaining a high standard of code quality through code reviews and automated testing;
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
Writing and optimizing application code as well as Infrastructure as Code (IAC) scripts.
Your profile:
Strong understanding of cloud architectures, services, and best practices, for OpenShift, Azure, GCP. Ability to recommend and implement CSP-independent cloud solutions.
Experience in deploying and optimizing Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments. Managing operators, CRDs and advanced resources within Kubernetes.
Proficiency in the use of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Kustomize, Terraform or Ansible.
Core competency in networking, both for cloud and on-premise implementations.
Proficiency in cloud-native IAM solutions and secrets management platforms – Security protocols, tools, best practices, including TLS/certificates, OAuth2, and cryptographic best practices.
Knowledge of core Python concepts.
Experience in deploying/configuring messaging-oriented middleware (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ) on cloud-hosting platforms.
Experience of software integration, testing and release on cloud platforms using GitOps with technologies such as TeamCity, Tekton and ArgoCD.
