As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Application Operations Engineer ( Maternity Cover) in our Accounts & Deposits team.
Within the cluster Accounts & Deposits the Operations team runs new account-service-applications, which are currently be developed by the development-staff in Sofia based on the above mentioned frameworks. You will operate new frontends, modules or interfaces for this applications in close co-operation with business analysts and development experts of your team.
Your tasks:
Analyzing and resolving application related incidents
Coordinating and implementing changes on Pre-production and Production environments
Infrastructure and application monitoring
Identifying proper stakeholders for completing daily tasks
Strictly follow defined ITIL and Scrum processes while executing daily tasks
Gather specific knowledge on the supported applications and actively support development of new functionalities
Continuously improve knowledge of Commerzbank’s applications and infrastructure toolset
Acquire in-depth understanding of the Identity and Access mechanism implemented in Commerzbank
Alternative tasks related to the job (depending on demand).
Your profile:
Good understanding of and capability to work with Linux based systems
Experience as a support engineer or system/application administrator
Analytical thinking and approach for resolving problems
Knowledge of the basic ITIL processes, namely Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management is considered as an advantage
Understanding of containers, orchestration and pipelines concepts
Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Continuous drive for self-improvement
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
English language knowledge.
