Project Description
The QA Engineer will contribute to the ongoing evolution of a Salesforce-based financial solution, which integrates with AWS services and third-party platforms such as DocuSign. You’ll work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software, using both manual and automated testing techniques.
This role is ideal for someone comfortable working across backend services, APIs, and UI components, with the ability to confidently recommend best practices and own the QA process from end to end.
Important: The client operates in Central Standard Time (CST). The QA engineer should be available to work up to 2 PM CST, which corresponds to 9 or 10 PM EET (Eastern European Time), depending on daylight saving time.

What You’ll Do:
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and BAs to understand project requirements and user stories
Design and execute test plans for Salesforce and AWS backend services
Perform manual testing, and where applicable, contribute to test automation
Conduct API testing, integration testing, and E2E testing
Participate in Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Work closely with developers to identify issues and provide timely feedback
Perform regression testing to ensure release stability
Stay informed on QA best practices, tools, and trends in the financial tech space
Job Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
Solid experience with manual testing of Salesforce-based systems
Understanding of Salesforce products: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud
Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger, etc.)
Familiarity with AWS services and backend testing
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and analytical mindset
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) – B2+ level
Proactive, independent, and confident in recommending QA approaches
Comfortable working with teams in different time zones
Nice to Have:
Basic knowledge of Python, SQL, JavaScript
Experience with automation testing tools: Selenium, Playwright, Pytest
Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
Background in financial services industry
