Join our team as a Senior Threat Intelligence Researcher and become a pivotal part of our efforts to safeguard the digital frontier. This role offers the unique opportunity to delve into the depths of the web and use cutting-edge intelligence techniques to make a real-world impact.
As a Cognyter you will:
Conduct in-depth research across the deep web, dark web, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) to extract critical intelligence for our clients
Collaborate closely with the product team to enhance intelligence gathering and analysis processes
Engage in the collection and processing of OSINT for client-specific investigations
Keep up to date the team’s methodologies and intelligence collection techniques
Engage with Threat Actors on an ad hoc basis, adhering to our rules of engagement to gather intelligence without compromising integrity
Produce actionable intelligence and contribute to the ongoing development of our dark web collection efforts
Play a key role in mentoring new team members
Document and refine processes to contribute to the continuous improvement of our Standard Operating Procedures
Utilize our proprietary intelligence platform to develop and execute advanced analytics
Provide ongoing advice and insights to our teams helping shape the future direction of our services
Produce comprehensive, concise, and articulate reports detailing cyber incidents, including incident summaries, analysis, findings, and recommendations
For that mission you’ll need:
Proficiency in English; additional languages are a significant plus
A minimum of 4 years of experience in fields related to anti-fraud, risk analytics, cybersecurity, or similar
A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field
Deep understanding of the DarkNet and DeepWeb ecosystems
Demonstrated ability to process and analyze data effectively; knowledge of database processing and scripting is highly valued
A proactive, can-do attitude with a keen interest in combating cybercrime and fraud
