Position Description:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer/Architect to join our growing data team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data infrastructure, building scalable pipelines, and applying advanced data engineering and analytical practices to support machine learning and data science initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping data architecture, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization, and integrating modern AI technologies into real-world solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage scalable ETL workflows and data pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
• Architect data warehousing solutions and ensure efficient access to clean, reliable data
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data solutions
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy ML models and perform statistical analyses on large datasets
• Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from various sources, including legacy systems
• Use both SQL and NoSQL databases for querying and storage
• Develop and maintain data processing scripts in Python and other relevant languages
• Support inference tasks using self-hosted LLM models (e.g., one-shot, few-shot prompting)
• Build and enhance dashboards and reporting tools for data visualization and monitoring
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across platforms
• Communicate technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Stay informed on emerging trends in data engineering, ML, and AI

Requirements:

• Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Strong knowledge of ETL design, data modeling, and data warehousing
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and lifecycle integration
• Experience working with LLMs and modern AI-driven architectures
• Ability to manage and interpret complex, large-scale datasets
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with legacy data systems and data migration
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, dbt, or Kafka
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for data infrastructure
• Exposure to BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and security best practices
