Requirements:
University degree or education in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field preferred;
First experience in software testing, including creating and executing test plans and cases;
Basic knowledge in tools like TestRail, Xray, and JIRA for test and defect management;
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies;
Eagerness to learn new skills, such as test management and test automation;
Ability to adapt and contribute effectively to service and development teams;
Knowledge of IT terminology, concepts, and technologies, including software development, networking, and cloud computing;
Basic knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language and SQL databases;
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and continuous integration practices as well as the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced IT environment;
Strong troubleshooting and research skills to gather information from experts and other resources;
Very good verbal and written skills in English as well as good communication skills to collaborate with service & developers as well as other team members;
Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel, as well as web-based wiki systems for organizing and publishing of documentation.
Responsibilities:
As a Junior QA Engineer you will:
Collaborate with various teams to understand requirements and contribute to test planning;
Analyze product and system requirements, providing input to improve clarity and testability;
Create, maintain, and execute manual as well as automated test cases;
Prepare and manage test data for realistic and effective test execution;
Analyze, report, and communicate test results, highlighting defects and test progress:
Investigate and reproduce customer-reported issues to support troubleshooting;
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups;
Learn and apply QA best practices, contributing to process improvements;
Follow project-specific guidelines and the company’s operating model;
Stay informed about tools, technologies, and trends in software testing.
