As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to enhance our testing framework, improve test coverage, and work closely with our Manual QA and Development teams to maintain the quality of our products.

Role Overview

As an Automation QA Engineer at ChargebackHelp, you will be responsible for designing and executing automated test cases for new features, running regression tests in CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability of our software. You will collaborate with the Manual QA team and Developers to enhance test coverage and report all issues, defects, or blockers to the Project Manager. Additionally, you will generate daily regression reports and end-of-sprint activity reports to track testing progress and system stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for new features introduced in every sprint.
• Ensure automation tests run in CI/CD pipelines and monitor test execution stability.
• Identify and propose additional test cases for untested areas of the application.
• Work closely with the Manual QA team to align on testing strategies and ensure full test coverage.
• Collaborate with Developers to understand feature requirements and create efficient test cases.
• Generate daily regression test reports summarizing test execution and failures.
• Create an end-of-sprint activity report, outlining automation progress, issues, and improvements.
• Report bugs, blockers, and risks to the Project Manager and collaborate with the Manual QA and Development teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Continuously improve test automation frameworks and optimize testing efficiency.

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years in test automation within a software development environment.

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools – Cypress.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript programming.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, etc.
• Proficiency in Git/Bitbucket for managing test code.
• Experience in writing and maintaining test scripts for web and backend applications.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validations.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to proactively identify automation gaps and propose solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance/load testing tools like JMeter or k6.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Prior experience in fraud prevention, fintech, or payments industry.
