iOS Team Lead

Carista is a fast-growing Bulgarian company that is passionate about cars. Over the past few years, more than a million drivers have diagnosed and coded their Audi, BMW, Lexus, Ford, or Volkswagen vehicles with our mobile app.

We’re seeking a skilled and passionate iOS Team Lead to lead our iOS development team and contribute to the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge mobile app.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the Mobile team (iOS) by mentoring, guiding, and ensuring best practices
• Bring vibrant designs and innovative features to life
• Maintain and optimize existing features, tackling bugs and performance issues
• Conduct code reviews and uphold high standards for code quality
• Write UnitTests to ensure the app’s robustness
• Participate actively in regular team engineering meetings

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development
• Proven leadership or team mentorship experience
• Strong logical thinking and a creative mindset with the ability to analyze and identify patterns
• Quick learner, adaptable to a constantly evolving system
• Collaborative team player who communicates ideas effectively
• Experience working on large projects with extensive codebases
• Bonus: Knowledge and experience in Objective-C
• Extra points: Knowledge and/or experience in C++
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
