We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team.
What we’re looking for in our candidates:
Good knowledge of methodologies and best practices in business analysis and the ability to effectively apply them;
Have proven experience in capturing, documenting, and delivering detailed requirements;
Experience with quantitative data analysis;
Good understanding of the software product development process;
Strong ability to extract information by questioning, active listening, and interviewing (important for communicating to technical and non-technical team members);
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions;
A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement and driving change;
Strong business acumen, ability to understand business in detail by connecting the responsibilities and inputs of all organizational units;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex information in an easily understandable way;
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment;
A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges;
Able to manage tasks independently, and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility;
Basic understanding of IT architecture and database design.
Key responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements;
Create user flow diagrams;
Craft user stories;
Work and coordinate with stakeholders to understand the business needs and requirements and ensure the product meets the customer and business needs;
Liaise with software developers to assess options and resolve any uncertainties;
Perform ad-hoc business analysis (e.g. market or competition analysis) to help the product team make both tactical and strategic decisions;
Interpret data, analyze results, and provide recommendations;
Participate in project planning and status meetings;
Prioritize and manage the product backlog;
Continuously monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented solutions, making necessary adjustments;
Generate insightful reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
