Senior Python Engineer

Our client has been into AI before it was cool and has gathered tons of research knowledge on AI, LLMs, RAGs being a personal research assistant to a solid client base. As part of their growth, they are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join their team.

Tech stack: Service-oriented architecture, microservices, Python, Flask, Django, Docker, K8s, AWS, Git, CouchBase.

Hands-on development responsibilities:

• Software development – specification, planning, implementation.
• Test and adopt new technologies to enhance development productivity.
• Work in an agile process in a distributed team with limited connectivity.
• Research, design and integrate software systems.
• Participation in the full process until product delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ability to teach and transfer knowledge to fellow engineers is a plus.
• Experience in ML/AI is a plus.
• Experience with academic research is a plus.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience.
• 3+ years with Python with a focus on web development.
• Strong architectural and software design patterns knowledge.
