Role overview:
They are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join the company’s infrastructure team. You will play a key role in designing, maintaining, and securing their high-availability network systems, contributing to automation and resilience across hybrid cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain a highly available global backend network infrastructure
Design, implement, and optimize network solutions in alignment with Agile/DevOps methodologies
Supplier coordination and support to 1st/2nd line teams
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and contribute to the design of secure, resilient network architectures
Continuously assess and improve network performance, automation, and scalability
Maintain accurate network documentation, configurations, and operational procedures
What you need to succeed:
Expert-level knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and enterprise infrastructure
In-depth understanding of dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and network segmentation (VRF, VLAN, MPLS)
Strong scripting and automation skills using tools like Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Go for infrastructure management
Experience building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code pipelines and automating network operations
Experience with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and best practices in securing network environments
Hands-on experience with cloud networking in Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments, including VPNs, ExpressRoute, or VPC peering
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., NetFlow, SNMP, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
