Role summary:
As a Software Engineer, your contribution will be instrumental in their team’s mission to create and maintain an event-based distributed micro-service-oriented software environment that has a profound impact on millions of clients across diverse European markets. Main duties:
Participate in designing, development and testing phases of event-based distributed micro-service-oriented software products.
Improves code structure and architecture in service of testability and maintainability.
Works with their team and adjacent teams to solve problems. Escalates problems that have a broader scope.
What to bring:
5+ years of experience with PHP and Node.js.
Experience with Yii and/or Laravel and Symfony.
Strong experience in OOP.
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka).
Experience with Elasticsearch.
A clear understanding of architectural patterns and best coding practices.
Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Good communication skills in both Bulgarian and English.
Nice to have:
Experience with TypeScript.
Experience with caching (Redis, MemCached, OpCache).
Experience with high-traffic web applications.
Working knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
