    Our client?

    An international financial institution with offices across Europe, Asia, and Africa. The company is expanding a large-scale, multi-year digital transformation, modernizing its IT landscape with a focus on cloud technologies, automation, and engineering excellence. Their technology stack includes Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, microservices, SQL Server, and Java. Currently, we are supporting them to recruit for their international team of IT Geeks, new members in Bulgaria who will join as: JAVA SOFTWARE DEVELOPER 

    Key responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions.
    • Write clean and maintainable code.
    • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
    • Integrate third-party services and APIs.
    • Implement data storage solutions (relational and NoSQL databases).
    • Debugging, writing unit and integration tests.
    • Participate in code reviews.
    • Assisted with system design in microservices architecture.

    Requirements:

    • 4+ years of professional experience with Java (Java 17+), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
    • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, Git.
    • Familiarity with Gradle/Maven, relational (Azure SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, and Hibernate.
    • Experience with message brokers (Active MQ, Azure Service Bus) and basic Docker/Kubernetes knowledge.
    • Experience with JUnit, Spring Cloud Contract, and Cypress.
    • Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.
    • Experience in writing technical documentation (OpenAPI 3.0+).
    • Analytical skills, self-starting, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluent in written and spoken English.
