Solution Consultant

Our client is an international technology company providing advanced digital solutions for the automotive retail sector. Their custom-built ERP/DMS platform supports dealer networks and importers across Europe, helping optimize sales, aftersales, and business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead long-term ERP/DMS implementation projects in collaboration with automotive dealers and importers.
• Conduct workshops with clients to understand their business processes, document requirements, and align expectations.
• Translate customer needs into clear functional specifications for technical and development teams.
• Configure the system, execute validations, testing (UAT/SIT), and support go-live activities.
• Provide ongoing functional consultancy and improvements for existing customers.
• Work closely with international colleagues: technical teams, project managers, and senior management.
• Communicate entirely in English on all project-related topics.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites (approx. 1-2 times per month).

Requirements:

• Experience in the automotive industry is highly important: preferably within dealer groups, importers, OEM interactions, or automotive retail/aftersales.
• Experience in vehicle sales or service operations is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of ERP/DMS processes; experience with automotive DMS or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong skills in organizing, documenting, and structuring information.
• Ability to conduct workshops, present confidently, and manage client expectations.
• Negotiation skills combined with a consultative and solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work remotely with international teams.
• Proactive, creative, and capable of balancing business and technical perspectives.
• No strict IT background required, but the ability to understand technical concepts and product capabilities is essential.
