We are seeking a new QA Engineering Intern to join the Axway team!
Responsibilities

Perform various kinds of testing, including:
Functional testing
Regression testing
Integration testing
Usability testing
API testing (willingness to learn or knowledge of it)
Work together with software developers and product owners to gain an understanding of system requirements, determine where quality needs to be improved,
and verify defects are fixed correctly.
Examine test results, determine trends, and offer feedback to the development team.
Attend review and sprint planning meetings.
Collaborate with the development of QA processes, documentation, and tools on an ongoing basis.
Regression test and test fixes to ensure capability to validate issues get fixed without creating new issues.
Get hands-on experience working on Windows and Linux OS platforms.
Assist in troubleshooting and reproduction of customer-reported problems.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Understanding of software testing principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Very good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare clear and concise test documentation and bug reports.
You have to meet some of the following requirements:
Basic understanding of software testing principles, both manual and automated
Strong interest in manual testing, with an eye for detail and a methodical approach to test execution and reporting
Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript, C# or Java).
Experience with Windows and Linux OS Platforms.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
Good understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and how they relate to web or client-server applications
Eagerness to learn and take initiative in exploring new tools and practices
Very good learning attitude with enthusiasm for acquiring new technologies, tools, and QA practices.
