Junior Salesforce Developer

We are seeking our new Salesforce Developer to join the Axway team!

The Salesforce Developer will contribute to the development, customization, and maintenance of our Salesforce platform. He should have foundational development skills and the willingness to learn Salesforce technologies. This role involves working with senior developers and business stakeholders to implement and optimize Salesforce solutions. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for assisting in configuration, coding, testing, and troubleshooting within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and customization of Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
• Work closely and collaboratively with senior developers to implement new features and functionalities.
• Participate in code reviews and technical meetings and follow best practices for Salesforce development.
• Assist Senior Developers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within Salesforce.
• Maintain development processes documentation and technical documentation.
• Stay up to date with Salesforce updates and best practices.
• Participate in meetings with Business teams.

Qualifications

• Creative and analytical thinker with problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Familiarity with web technologies such as CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with database design concepts and SQL
• Understanding of Cloud technologies
• Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in Salesforce technologies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work in an international team environment.
• Previous experience in a SCRUM or Agile development environment.

Experience Required:

• 1-2 years of experience in software development (including internships and academic projects).
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of Apex and Lightning components is a plus but not required.
• Exposure to Salesforce through coursework, trailhead, or personal projects is an advantage.
• Experience with version control systems / Git is a plus
• Must have a relevant University Degree or equivalent work experience.
