PRODUCT MANAGER

SofiaMarine is part of the AXSMarine group - a leading provider of specialized maritime web-based software with presence in France, Bulgaria, UK, Greece, Singapore, USA, UAE and Germany. As a product company, we have over 18 000 users, essentially shipbrokers, operators, owners, charterers, research firms and financial institutions. AXSMarine provides chartering solutions for all shipping business segments – Dry Bulk, Tanker, Gas and Liner.

Our office in Sofia was opened in 2011 and since then the whole IT, Data and Business teams are located here. Our team is constantly growing, and we want to reinforce our global positioning.

We are therefore now looking to hire a person to endorse the role of:

PRODUCT MANAGER

ROLE

As a Product Manager on our high-performing Product team, you will partner with other Product Managers, designers and developers to build new modules, enhance existing features, and continuously improve the user experience across our platforms. You will translate ideas, customer needs, and market trends into product strategy, create the story, and follow product development from start to finish.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support end-to-end product flow – Help launch new features from idea to production, working with other Product Managers, design and developers.

• Track progress and update stakeholders

• Prioritize feature requests and improvements based on usage data and customer feedback

• Work closely with the Product and Design teams to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes

• Write and maintain concise, user‑friendly feature specifications that capture business goals, success criteria, and edge‑case behavior.

• Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in SaaS product management with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product

• Comfortable with complex problem solving to build the best possible user experience

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Proven team player who can also step up to lead and influence cross‑functional initiatives

• Comfortable collaborating, building consensus, and driving projects forward with a positive, proactive attitude

• Good understanding of technical concepts

• Ability to develop, lead and manage multiple large, complex initiatives

• Very strong work ethic with confidence to work autonomously and remotely

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Maritime shipping business and solutions experience is a bonus
