    For one of our clients – a premier technology partner to the gambling industry, backed by more than 25 years of unrivaled international know-how, we are on a lookout for Head of Data (Hybrid).

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead the architecture and delivery of a modern BI platform combining real-time data, analytics, and smart alerting;
    • Provide hands-on technical leadership in Python/R, SQL optimization, and scalable data pipeline design;
    • Design and oversee data infrastructure covering orchestration, streaming, containers, and databases;
    • Own key decisions around data warehousing, real-time processing, and analytics architecture;
    • Define and enforce data quality, monitoring standards, and best practices;
    • Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, promoting ownership and growth;
    • Partner with Product and Engineering to turn business needs into impactful data and AI solutions.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or quantitative field;
    • 5+ years of experience in data roles, including 3+ years in team leadership;
    • Strong track record in building or scaling BI platforms or data products;
    • Advanced skills in Python and/or R, strong SQL, and solid data warehousing knowledge;
    • Experience with data orchestration, containerization, and cloud platforms;
    • Hands-on background in real-time data streaming, time-series data, and alerting systems;
    • Exposure to machine learning, LLMs, or AI-driven analytics in production environments.
