At Astea we design, implement, and support multi-platform, large scale applications. We’re seeking a talented Automation QA Engineer to join our team of passionate technology oriented professionals. As a member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for developing, and maintaining automated test suites using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools, with a focus on TypeScript.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive automated test suites using testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test plans that cover functional and non-functional aspects
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to verify new features and ensure best coverage
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues
Participate in feedback loops, providing constructive input across the organization
Requirements:
University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
1+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation or software testing
Еxperience in either web or mobile application testing
Strong understanding of QA practices and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, analytical, and a strong team player
Very good command of English
Preferred skills:
Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript or similar languages
Knowledge of testing frameworks such as WebdriverIO, Mocha, Playwright, or Cypress
Deep understanding of agile development methodologies
ISTQB certification
Experience with version control systems such as Git
