We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and Kubernetes, with a focus on security and reliability. You will play a crucial role in identifying and resolving security issues within our clusters and enhancing the resilience of our PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch environments.
Responsibilities:
– Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in Kubernetes clusters in accordance with CIS, OWASP, and supply chain best practices.
– Improve the fault tolerance and reliability of PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch clusters.
– Manage and optimize AWS services, including EKS, EC2, SSM, Athena, S3, and IAM.
– Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate and manage cloud resources.
– Administer PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
– Implement and maintain EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluent Operator, Kibana) stack for logging and monitoring.
– Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
– Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus and Grafana.
– Assist in the implementation and management of tools like Ansible, SonarQube, and Sentry.
– Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure and processes.
Requirements:
– Strong knowledge of AWS services (EKS, EC2, SSM, Athena, S3, IAM). SysOps Administrator Associate knowledge is highly desirable.
– Proficiency in Kubernetes, including Helm, HPA and kubespray. CKS certification is a plus.
– Experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
– Solid experience in administering PostgreSQL databases.
– Familiarity with EFK stack for logging and monitoring.
-Experience with infrastructure security hardening.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Proficient with GitLab CI for continuous integration and deployment.
– Knowledge of tuning Kafka for Sentry.
– Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting.
– Familiarity with Ansible for configuration management is a plus.
