Android Developer

We’re looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our product-driven team and help us build seamless mobile experiences for our customers in the wealth-tech space.

You’ll take part in designing and developing new features, maintaining high code quality, and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers (our backend is written in Go).

This is a young product with minimal legacy code, thoughtfully designed architecture, and a modular approach. You’ll be joining a strong and experienced team where engineering excellence and knowledge sharing are a part of the culture.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain a robust and scalable Android application
• Collaborate with the product team to design user-friendly and high-performance mobile interfaces
• Integrate with backend services using graphql (QA team is fully responsible for handling tests)
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable Kotlin code
• Participate in code reviews and mobile architecture discussions
• Ensure app quality through unit testing, UI testing, and CI pipelines (on DevOps side)
• Monitor performance and resolve bugs and crashes
• Contribute to the evolution of a modular architecture and maintain clean project structure

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Android development
• Proficient in Kotlin, with solid understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern app architecture
• Experience working with graphql
• Familiarity with tools like Coroutines/Flow, Koin, and Jetpack Compose
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong attention to performance, UX, and app reliability
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with backend teams
• Familiarity with analytics, crash reporting, and monitoring tools (Firebase, Sentry, etc.)
• Understanding of financial products or interest in the wealth-tech domain
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps in the Play Store
