Automation QA Engineer

Today this happens through an advanced cloud-based SaaS platform of digital and data services.

CCC Safekeep, an AI-driven insuretech division of CCC, is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to build and enhance end-to-end test automation. You’ll work with engineers, data teams, and product managers to design and improve test plans, increase automation coverage, and ensure product quality using real-world user scenarios and coding skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests across UI, API, DB, and end-to-end flows.
• Collaborate on testing strategies for subrogation products, data pipelines, and ML services.
• Enhance automation frameworks and develop tools to support high-quality releases.
• Drive quality practices across engineering through testing, feedback, and process improvements.
• Create and execute test plans based on product specs and technical discussions.
• Partner with Support and Engineering to investigate and resolve customer issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years in QA automation or software development.
• Proficient in Python or JavaScript and test frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and API testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in remote environments.

Nice to haves:

• Experience with full-stack development or microservices.
• Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS).
• Understanding of secure coding and software security best practices.
• Solid grasp of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
