For our client – a product company, providing smart energy technology solutions with a diverse portfolio of solar, battery and energy ecosystems products we are searching for an experienced and result-oriented person for the role of a Database Administrator (DBA) to join their exceptional and dynamic team!

Your role:

As a Database Administrator (DBA) your daily responsibilities will include maintaining our clients’ database servers, providing support and guidance to the development teams, and monitoring their implementations. You’ll utilize a diverse set of tools, including Ansible, Git, Grafana, Python, and more, with a strong focus on enhancing data platform performance. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with the development team to optimize code efficiency and contribute to the design of the data platform.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain DB servers
• Providing support and guidelines to the Development Teams
• Monitor their implementations, using a wide range of tools such Linux servers, Python, Ansible
• Improve Data platform performance
• Work alongside with the dev team to improve code performance and design

Desired experience, skills and qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience as an Infrastructure DBA
• Extensive experience with Linux servers
• Strong experience with automation in Python, Ansible
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Passion, Curiosity, dedication, and desire to be the best and continue learning new processes and technologies

Advantages:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT field
• Previous experience with Kafka
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, Terraform, Prometheus, Grafana, Kubernetes
• Experience with AWSVmware
• Knowledge of any Data platform in AWS
• Experience with ETL pipelines
• Performance tunings and performance issues debugging
