We’re looking for a talented Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Developer to join our growing Salesforce team. This role focuses on backend development and architecture for Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C implementations, building robust integrations, managing headless commerce solutions, and delivering scalable ecommerce solutions that drive business success.

Behind every high-performing ecommerce platform, there is a team of developers architecting, coding, and integrating complex backend systems. We are looking for talented individuals with deep Commerce Cloud backend expertise who have the aptitude to get the job done on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development & Architecture:

• Design and develop custom cartridges using Salesforce Reference Architecture (SFRA) best practices
• Build and maintain server-side JavaScript controllers, scripts, and business logic for Commerce Cloud
• Implement custom services, jobs, and middleware solutions for ecommerce functionality
• Develop and optimize database operations, content slots, and catalog management systems

API Development & Integration:

• Design and implement solutions using Salesforce Commerce API (SCAPI) for modern headless architectures
• Build custom integrations using Open Commerce API (OCAPI) for legacy systems and third-party connections
• Develop RESTful web services and custom API endpoints for external system integrations

Headless Commerce & Modern Architecture:

• Architect and implement Composable Storefront solutions for headless ecommerce experiences
• Manage and deploy applications using Salesforce Managed Runtime (MRT) for scalable headless implementations
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for composable storefront deployments

Salesforce Ecosystem Integration:

• Integrate Commerce Cloud with Salesforce Order Management System (OMS) for unified order processing
• Build connections between Commerce Cloud and Marketing Cloud for customer journey automation
• Implement data synchronization between Commerce Cloud and Salesforce CRM for 360-degree customer views
• Design cross-cloud data flows and maintain data consistency across Salesforce products

Required Qualifications

Salesforce Commerce Cloud Expertise:

• Required: Valid Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Developer certification
• Preferred: Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Architect certification
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C development experience
• Deep proficiency with Salesforce Reference Architecture (SFRA) and custom cartridge development
• Strong experience with server-side JavaScript, ISML templating, and Commerce Cloud scripting APIs

API & Integration Mastery:

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Commerce API (SCAPI) implementation and customization
• Proficiency with Open Commerce API (OCAPI) for system integrations and data management
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and GraphQL implementations
• Experience with webhook development and event-driven architecture patterns

Headless & Modern Architecture:

• Hands-on experience with Composable Storefront architecture and implementation
• Proficiency with Salesforce Managed Runtime (MRT) for headless application deployment
• Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization concepts
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks and Node.js for headless solutions
• Knowledge of security best practices for ecommerce platforms and data protection compliance
