Position Highlights:
SAP Finance solution specialist will be part of the global AMS SAP Support Team providing expertise in SAP Accounting, Tax & Controlling domain (SAP FI & CO modules).
The focus of SAP Finance solution specialist is mainly on the delivery of business applications support services (incidents, changes, problems & system enhancements delivery) and improving the core practices and documentation for SAP Accounting, Tax & Controlling domain and related interfaces with partner systems.
The focus will be on the application support (Incident & Problem management, delivery of changes / configurations and enhancements) for the LDC live countries and guiding/up-skilling the other more-junior team members, ensuring support levels and expectations from both management and users are met.
Main responsibilities:
• Have good knowledge of SAP Finance business processes and knowledge of how the solution works (E2E: Finance processes: Accounting, Tax and Controlling)
• Have knowledge of how to run SAP Finance processes, related tables and system configurations
• Interact with the user to collect business requirements, discover more complex issues, explain complex SAP functional & technical rules, and present resolution explanation
• Identifies, initiates and solves problems using analysis, experience, and judgment
• Analyze and solve problems, by addressing the root cause, elaborate action plans for continuous improvements of the solution and solving recurrent incidents
• Apply standard SAP customizations (bug fixes & configuration changes), perform extensive testing and maintain solution documentation
• Deliver enhancements (understand the business need, clarify business requirement, translate into a documentation and solutions)
Main requirements:
Min 3,4 + years of SAP IT support / delivery experience with SAP Finance & Controlling
Good experience in SAP IT application support and delivery in SAP Finance & Controlling, including: incidents resolution & root-cause analysis, delivery of change requests via system customizing, testing and transports management, delivering system enhancements and working with ABAP Developers
Good knowledge and business process understanding in SAP Finance & Controlling domains (SAP AP, AR, GL, AA, CO & TAX)
S4 HANA & FIORI experience
Knowledge in SAP system integration & interfaces with other systems (iDocs/XML messages)
Experience with SAP BRF+ is a plus
Experience with SAP BI data reporting is a plus
Knowledge of the integration points with other SAP modules (ex. SAP MM & SD)
Experience working with Service Desk ticketing system (Service Now & JIRA)
