What Are You Going to Do?
We are looking for a skilled Application Support Engineer with German to join our international IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level support, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of business-critical applications, and assisting in configuration and administration tasks.
You will play a key role in troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end-users, and maintaining system stability. This position requires excellent technical expertise combined with strong communication skills in both German and English.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1st and 2nd level application support to internal users.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot application performance and availability.
Handle incident management and root cause analysis, ensuring timely resolution.
Work closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve complex issues.
Perform configuration and administration tasks related to supported applications.
Support regular system updates, patches, and releases.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Communicate effectively with German-speaking stakeholders and users.
What Do We Expect?
Advanced knowledge in system administration.
Advanced experience with Linux, SQL, and XML.
Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL (experience considered an advantage).
Experience with configuration and administration of Projectron BCS is a strong advantage.
Experience in providing 1st and 2nd level support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Very good analytical and technical mindset to solve complex problems and detect system errors.
Communicative skills – be able to explain complex technical issue in understandable way.
Excellent communication skills in German (B2/C1 or higher) and English.
