Azure Databricks Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Databricks ETL workflows and Azure-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, architects, project managers, and bussiness intelligence to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Implement Azure services such as Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Key Vault to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure the quality and integrity of project deliverables
• Utilize SQL to perform tasks other than data transformation
• Write clean, organized and maintainable Python / PySpark code
• Design and implement technical enhancements of Data Warehouse / Lakehouse as required
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the architecture for scalability, performance, and data security in a cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure solutions
• Stay updated with the latest Azure trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our clients’ capabilities.

Requirements:

• Experience in working with Databricks(Unity catalog, Delta Live Tables) and PySpark
• At least 2 years of experience with MS Azure (Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics)
• Experience with Relational Databases and good knowledge of Cloud Databases
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data storage solutions using Azure services.
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong python skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledgeable in cloud architecture principles, security best practices, and performance optimization techniques will be considered as an advantage.
• Experience with Terraform will be considered as an advantage
