The SAP Maintenance Functional L2 Engineer for Warehouse and Logistics is responsible for the continuous support, maintenance, and enhancement of the SAP WM/eWM and LE modules. The role involves troubleshooting, configuring, and optimizing SAP processes to ensure seamless warehouse and logistics operations. This position requires a deep understanding of SAP WM and LE functionalities, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 support for SAP WM/eWM and LE processes addressing and resolving incidents and service requests.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal functionality.
Collaborate with Level 1, Level 3 support and cross-functional teams to ensure resolution of complex issues and successful project delivery.
Configure and customize SAP WM/LE modules to meet business requirements.
Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
Work with ABAP developers to implement custom solutions.
Analyze current warehouse and logistics processes and recommend improvements.
Conduct regular system health checks and performance tuning.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects, providing expertise in WM and LE modules.
Conduct testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data within the SAP system.
Qualifications
Technology Stack Used & Required Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 + years of experience in SAP WM/eWM/LE, with at least 2 years in a support or maintenance role.
Proficiency in SAP WM/eWM and LE configuration and customization.
Strong understanding of warehouse processes, logistics execution, and supply chain management.
Experience with integration points between SAP WM, eWM, LE, and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).
Basic knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging
