Role Overview:

An SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) / Warehouse Management (WM) Consultant is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of warehouse operations using SAP EWM/WM solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of warehouse processes, SAP EWM/WM modules, and the ability to align these solutions with business requirements to optimize warehouse operations. The consultant will utilize SAP EWM/WM to streamline warehouse management processes, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse process assessments using SAP EWM/WM to determine operational scope
• Analyze warehouse operations within SAP EWM/WM to identify inefficiencies
• Conduct process optimization and define actions for operational improvement using SAP EWM/WM tools
• Map warehouse processes from source environments to SAP EWM/WM solutions
• Resolve process mapping conflicts within SAP EWM/WM
• Collaborate with business units and process experts to resolve operational issues using SAP EWM/WM
• Ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and consistency of warehouse processes using SAP EWM/WM
• Prepare and analyze project plans specific to SAP EWM/WM implementations
• Maintain documentation required for process assessment and design in SAP EWM/WM
• Work directly with clients to understand their business needs and assist in the configuration and implementation of SAP EWM/WM solutions

Qualifications

Technology & Required Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field is preferred
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of SAP EWM/WM and warehouse management processes
• Strong experience in SAP EWM/WM processes in warehouse operations management
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse process optimization, process mapping, and operational governance in an SAP EWM/WM environment
• Basic knowledge of other SAP supply chain modules
• Experience in managing warehouse operations for custom processes within SAP EWM/WM is a plus
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, handling various tasks in support and project delivery within SAP EWM/WM
