The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing the requirements and requests from the regulatory reporting business, as well as identifying and assessing changes needed. The Business Analyst captures and documents requirements and analyzes the impact of changes. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for the following tasks: designing Sideloads based on regulatory reporting understanding and Abacus360 Mapping, creating detailed guidelines for Sideload creation (HowTos), developing Excel-CSV files based on HowTos, retesting of existing MSLs with the help of Informatica Developer, creating Jira tickets for MSL-tracking of tasks and issues, and conducting market calls with the reporting teams in the respective markets.
Main tasks:
Support of preparation and work documentation of regulatory reports with a focus on statistical reporting and regulatory supervisory reporting CRR of German financial institutions
Structured processing, analysis and evaluation of large data populations for the preparation of regulatory reports
Gathering data to create sideload files by querying data from the central data warehouse and supplies from other companies or bank departments
Provision of the sideloads files for the reporting process and communication to the stakeholders
Qualification
Requirements for the role:
Proficiency in German – B2 – C1 level.
Previous experience in the field of regulatory reporting of financial institutions or proven knowledge of relevant projects in auditing and/or consulting of financial institutions with a focus on regulatory requirements and reporting.
SQL regarding data science, data banks.
Good to have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, completed bank apprenticeship or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting and data analysis.
Knowledge of common financial instruments.
Good knowledge of German financial regulations and reporting standards, including Basel III, CRD IV, Solvency II and other relevant directives and regulations.
Understanding and interest in IT applications and banking processes.
Proficiency in regulatory reporting tool ABACUS or other regulatory reporting tools commonly used in the industry.
Experience with queries in Informatica Developer.
