Due to the expansion of our team we are looking for a talented Junior/Mid-Level Hardware Engineer in a small team, responsible for the design and development of electronic modules and systems, used in automotive diagnostics and security-related functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing electronic hardware systems, with a focus on automotive modules
Assisting in diagnostics and performing special functions related to hardware security in automotive ECUs
Supporting software engineers in reverse engineering of communication protocols and interfacing with hardware (debuggers, programmers, etc.)
Hardware development and testing, including PCB design and prototyping
Requirements:
Junior Hardware Engineer
Little or no experience required
Strong desire to grow in the field of hardware security
Willingness to learn, experiment, and participate in real-world automotive projects
Mid-Level Hardware Engineer
Solid hands-on experience in hardware design and development
Capable of independently handling electronic project design from concept to prototype
Good understanding of system-level design and automotive standards
Preferred Qualifications and Experience (for both profiles):
Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is considered a strong advantage
Experience with microcontroller architectures
Familiarity with low-level communication protocols: CAN, LIN, SPI, UART, JTAG
Basic C/C++ programming knowledge, at least at Arduino level
Experience with PCB design, Simulations and familiar with Altium Designer
Good command of English (written and spoken)
Interest or experience in automotive electronics and hardware security
Good hardware prototyping skills
