The history of the group
Founded in 1990, the first company in the group, ITA Engineering Ltd, was established by five friends as a pure design company in the field of low-current systems. Only a year later, due to the lack of specialist companies with experience in this field in the market, the company began to expand by forming its own teams to carry out the projects, so that the company could meet the requirements of its customers in terms of providing complete solutions and turnkey project execution. The company began to build strategic and long-lasting partnerships with suppliers and other local and foreign companies.
In 1992, the second company in the group, ITA Trade Ltd, was established together with an Austrian partner. The aim of the newly established company was to form a sales department to expand the market share of ITA Engineering and to represent foreign companies by offering their products on the Bulgarian market.

Today the group consists of 7 companies, which are 100% privately owned, debt-free, and politically dependent. Since the restructuring process in 2007, the group has operated under the name of ITA Group Bulgaria, with headquarters in Sofia, Bulgaria. ITA Group Bulgaria is one of the country's leading systems integrators in the engineering services and IT/telecommunications sectors, with operations in several Western European countries such as Germany and Austria as well as the entire Eastern European region including Macedonia, Greece, Romania, and Serbia.
Our business model is to provide the highest quality by relying on our own capacity and know-how without relying on external subcontractors. We always strive to build long-lasting and stable relationships with our customers and business partners, which helps us understand their needs and specific requirements and allows us to guide them in the right direction when it comes to digital transformation of their business.
