In October 1999 the Bulgarian electronic payment system ePay.bg was launched. On November 19, 1999 the first payment was made with a debit bank card in a Bulgarian internet shop. The company is also the operator of the systems for payment with bank cards via ATM (B-pay), automatic payment of recurring bills and SMS notification of transactions made with bank cards.
