We are Costa Coffee, respecting our roots in artisan coffee making. Our journey began in 1971 when the Costa brothers opened their first roastery in London, launching our art of coffee making. In conjunction with our machine software service, we provide a comprehensive cloud-based telemetry platform designed to streamline machine data management. Serving as a centralized repository, our platform ingests and analyzes data from a variety of machines, offering useful insights in making informed decisions. Built entirely on .NET and leveraging a suite of Azure services, our platform boasts a highly scalable serverless compute pipeline. Beyond data aggregation, our platform facilitates seamless firmware updates, feature incorporation, and configuration management, enabling businesses to efficiently and effectively optimize machine performance.
Our digital technology team in Sofia specializes in the development of mobile apps, websites, marketing services products, data storage and management systems, and CRM services. We work with innovative and time-proven cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and various components of the AWS ecosystem. These technologies enable and encourage adaptive and modern design of our systems, with a continuous focus on continuous improvement. Costa Coffee has over 45 years of experience in producing high quality coffee.
The story of Costa Coffee began in 1971, when brothers Sergio and Bruno arrived in London with a great desire to make great tasting coffee a part of everyday life for Londoners. They opened a small roastery on Fenchurch Street with the desire to produce coffee of the highest quality.
The Costa brothers blind tested 112 different coffee combinations before choosing the one good enough to become our signature blend.
They called this blend Mocha Italia and it remains our signature blend to this day.
The first Costa Coffee cafeteria in Bulgaria opened its doors in the town of. Sofia in 2006. The English brand's restaurants in Bulgaria are operated by Koffee Life Ltd. The company is a franchise partner of Costa Coffee in the country.
