Appfire was founded in 2005 by engineer Randall Ward, as one of Atlassian’s original partners.
We’ve built a portfolio of apps for more than 30,000 customers, 55% of which are Fortune 500. Appfire Products - Whiteboards
Whiteboards.io is a new iteration of the popular Whiteboards for Jira and Whiteboards for Confluence apps.
Our mission is to empower software and project teams on a new type of collaboration platform - unifying discovery with sourcing and offering asynchronous real-time collaboration.
The launch of Whiteboards.io marks an important milestone in Appfire's mission to equip and connect every team,in order to perform at their best.
Today, our main product is Configuration Manager, which automates JIRA processes in huge complex configurations and corporations with tens of thousands of employees. When large companies running JIRA want to modify a workflow, IT administrators have to make the changes almost entirely by hand, which is extremely difficult in organizations with 10,000 users of the product. We solve exactly these difficulties by automating everything.
We are gradually developing other products and solutions that we sell through Atlassian and expanding our services.

"Appfire" buysthe company Botron, which was created with the own investments of its founders - Peter Tudjarski, Peter Petrov, Georgi Dinkov, Rich Bowman and Boris Georgiev.
The company's pilot product, Configuration Manager for Jira, was received with a degree of skepticism by Atlassian, as they had tried developing a similar solution themselves but encountered major technical problems.
Despite the negative feedback, the founders of Botron Software went ahead with the project and developed the most popular and effective administration tool for Jira, which today is used by organizations such as NASA, AirBnB, Boeing, Tesla, JP Morgan and a number of other small and large entities.
As of 2020, Botron is now part of Appfire Technologies, a company with a strong reputation and long history in the Atlassian ecosystem.
