Our technical teams:
1. Cybersecurity - Digital Identity - Risk Assurance Services:
The Digital Identity departmentemploys over 20 experts, some of whom are focused in areas such as Identity and Access Management (IDM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Cloud Adoption & Transformation and Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA). The rest work in areas such as Penetration Testing, GRC (Governance, Risk Compliance) and Data Science. As part of the Central and Eastern Europe team, the team works closely with colleagues from Romania, Poland, Estonia, Serbia, Macedonia, Hungary, Germany and others. Our specialists work as consultants to companies and businesses. The clients are mainly based in Europe and given the nature of the work, the team sometimes travels to meet with them for business meetings.
2. Tech Deals - Delivery Deal Value team
The team is made up of people with experience in system/application development, implementation and support, IT infrastructure, IT processes, IT consulting and more. Our focus is on the 4 main DDV products described below, in the context of:
- IT departments (back-office functions) of large companies; and
- Technology companies that rely on serious digital platforms to implement their business model (e.g. online platforms for food delivery, hotel reservations, airline tickets, etc.)
Products:
- Carve-outs-we advise the client on what services are shared between the selling company and the sold company. We calculate how the carve-out would affect the company's costs, how much money the implementation would cost, how the new company would stand from an IT perspective, and where there would be positives and negatives as a result of the carve-out.
- Integrations(M&A Integration) -we help clients create: an IT integration strategy, calculate the synergies associated with the IT environment and as a result of a potential transaction, create the monitoring process, build a merger plan. We assess their IT ecosystem, whether and how it can withstand new challenges, protecting against disruption and ensuring the business can continue to operate without interruption.
- IT Operational Due Diligence-we examine whether the IT operating model of the company being transacted is robust and creates the conditions for the company to grow, and where the potential cost issues in the IT environment might be. This includes analyzing everything related to the IT ecosystem - modernity, human capital, vendors, processes, systems, capacity, logistics, licenses, ability to avoid disruptions, approach to IT security and more.
- Rapid Value Creation-for this product, we most often partner with other PwC departments and our focus is on reducing IT-related cash costs.
