Full Stack Developer with Kotlin and Angular

PODIX is a Bulgarian IT service company focused on offshore/nearshore software development services. We cover a diverse range of technologies in various industries – from creative and design to front-end and mobile development and back-end integration, testing and delivery.

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with Kotlin and Angular (Mid to Senior level) to join our distributed team working on a cutting-edge web platform for the automotive industry in Germany. This long-term initiative powers one of the leading digital solutions for car dealerships, connecting multiple user groups and internal processes to streamline communication, customer service, repair tracking, and appointment scheduling – playing a key role in the digital transformation of the team.

The suitable candidate must be located in Bulgaria. We will not consider candidates from outside Bulgaria due to project specification limitations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize a scalable web platform using Kotlin and Angular;
• Take ownership of your own features and collaborate closely with teammates across Europe;
• Ensure code quality through testing, clean design, and modern development practices;
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless platform performance;
• Continuously enhance the product by staying up-to-date with new technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin (preferred) or Java – willingness to work primarily in Kotlin;
• Proven experience with Angular and TypeScript for frontend development;
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases;
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery workflows;
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm is a plus – can also be learned within the project;
• Strong English communication skills.
