Role Overview:
They are looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join the team working on the next generation of maritime simulators. You will contribute to the development and testing of the highly realistic maritime simulation system K-Sim, a world-class training platform that brings real-life vessel behavior and environment into a simulation.
Primary Duties:
Develop, execute and review test cases (manual or automated), scripts, plans and procedures.
Write scripts and use tools to automate the testing process, enabling faster and more efficient validation of the software.
Actively participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance phases of a project.
Review test reports, investigate failures, open bugs and track their lifecycle.
Be part of agile team and work closely with developers, PM and PO.
What you need to succeed:
Good understanding of software development lifecycle.
Analytical, logical and creative thinking.
Thoroughly understand the project requirements, including functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Willingness to learn custom testing frameworks (similar to Selenium) used in this project.
Programming skills (.NET, C#).
Writing and maintaining automated scripts.
Automating Integration tests with CI/CD Pipelines (Azure DevOps).
Analyzing the test results and reporting defects.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent spoken and written English.
