About the Role

Our client is looking for a Senior Android Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications supporting large-scale operations.

You’ll collaborate with mobile engineers, backend teams, and product stakeholders to deliver robust, performant, and reliable mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain Android apps using Kotlin and Java
• Participate in full app lifecycle: architecture, design, deployment, and maintenance
• Collaborate with iOS developers for feature parity and consistent UX
• Troubleshoot performance, stability, and reliability issues
• Apply Jetpack libraries, coroutines, flows, and concurrency patterns
• Propose architectural improvements and maintain high code quality
• Stay updated on Android technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of professional Android development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
• Deep understanding of Android architecture, components, and lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with UI, Material Design, custom views, and layout creation
• Knowledge of background tasks, battery/performance optimization
• Experience with Firebase, Google Play Services, push notifications
• Integration of AI/ML features in mobile apps
• Excellent English communication skills

Nice to Have:

REST API integration (OkHttp, Retrofit)

Unit and instrumentation testing, mock servers

Git workflows, debugging tools (Charles), Jira

iOS development (Swift/Obj-C) or cross-platform frameworks (Flutter)
