Senior Front-end Engineer (React)

Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire, and guide a small front-end team through mentorship, code reviews, technical direction, and constructive feedback.
• Design and deliver scalable front-end solutions, reusable components, and shared libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the architecture of complex user interfaces.
• Optimize application performance across different devices for smooth user experience.
• Ensure secure development practices across the UI.
• Plan and drive technical improvements for overall code health.
• Stay informed on AI trends and tools.

Requirements:

• Solid technical experience with React and other modern front-end technologies and libraries (Redux, Context API), including DOM manipulation and JavaScript object model.
• Experience as squad lead, SME, or similar (informal leadership role as well).
• Strong skills in debugging, browser performance optimization, and building scalable, secure front-end solutions.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, modern authorization mechanisms (e.g. JWT), and front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM).
• Familiarity with Git workflows, and improving CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, able to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Curiosity to use AI-powered development tools.

Nice to haves, but not essential:

• Experience with React Native / native mobile development.
• Familiarity with latest ECMAScript specifications.
