We are looking for experienced Database Administrator to manage the SolarEdge data platform and join our SaaS production group.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing infrastructure and automation processes with a focus on DataOps practices. This role involves leveraging modern technologies and tools such as Grafana, Ansible, and Python to enhance system performance and reliability. Key responsibilities include improving platform monitoring, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring seamless automation.
Requirements:
Working experience in a DBA, DataOps, or DevOps role in the last 3 consecutive years
Strong knowledge of Linux (administration, scripting, networking basics, system performance)
Practical experience with Ansible or similar automation/configuration tools (e.g., Terraform, Chef, Puppet)
Proficiency with SQL and at least one database technology (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MariaDB, or a NoSQL system)
Data-oriented knowledge: schema design, indexing, backups/recovery, and performance basics
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Passion, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset
Advantages:
Experience defining data platforms monitoring methodologies and mastering relevant tools such as Prometheus, Grafana
Experience with ETL pipelines
Experience with devops tools – git, Jenkins, GitLab, terraform, Kubernetes
Experience with AWS Vmware
Knowledge of Any Data platform in AWS
Performance tunings and performance issues debugging
