Python Engineer – Conversational AI

What you’ll be working on

We are developing a real-time audio processing backend that powers complex conversational AI pipelines. Our systems integrate with a wide range of third-party services, providing unique challenges and opportunities to grow professionally in a fast-paced startup environment. You will be part of a team designing and deploying scalable, robust AI pipelines for order-taking scenarios, working closely with ML engineers to bring Generative AI solutions into production.

Your Role

• Design, implement, and integrate configurable conversational pipelines for various real-time scenarios.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy Generative AI pipelines in production.
• Triage and analyze production AI performance issues.
• Debug complex conversational flows.
• Own and maintain data analysis pipelines and tools.
• Implement and maintain automated testing infrastructure for AI pipelines to ensure stability and accuracy.

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years of experience in Python development
• Strong backend development and software architecture skills
• Proven track record of deploying multiple production projects
• Strong data analysis skills
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Linux, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with data pipelines and ETL processes
• Hands-on experience in Data Science or ML
• Experience with conversational AI applications

Interview Process

Initial Interview: 45-minute cultural and technical conversation with two team members.

Technical Deep Dive (choose one):

Homework Assignment: ~2-hour assignment followed by a 1-hour technical review

Pair Programming: 2-hour live technical deep dive

Constructive feedback will be provided regardless of the outcome.
