Desired Skills and Experience:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years in backend development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Java Powerhouse: Extensive hands-on experience with Java and its ecosystem, including frameworks and tools used in enterprise environments.
• Fintech Expertise: Proven experience in the fintech industry with a deep understanding of financial systems, payment gateways, and regulatory compliance.
• Architectural Mindset: Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills to bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy.
• Problem-Solving Pro: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex technical and operational challenges.
• Project Management Skills: Experience in managing projects, balancing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• English Proficient: Excellent spoken and written English for seamless communication in an international environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead High-Performing Teams: Manage, mentor, and grow a talented backend engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Technical Architect: Drive the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable and secure backend systems with a deep focus on Java and fintech-specific technologies.
• Strategic Visionary: Collaborate with leadership to define and execute the technical roadmap for backend systems, aligning with business goals and product needs.
• Cross-Functional Connector: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to deliver high-impact, user-centric solutions.
• Compliance Guardian: Ensure all backend systems meet the highest standards of security and compliance, especially in the context of financial and cryptocurrency regulations.
• Process Innovator: Champion engineering best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles to drive efficiency and quality.
• People & Project Leader: Manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while maintaining strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
