Position Overview:

We’re looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience in building and maintaining scalable backend systems. You’ll work on high-performance services, complex database operations, and backend logic that directly impacts millions of users.

Responsibilities:

– Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs

– Work extensively with MySQL — including complex queries, indexing, performance optimization, and schema design

– Integrate internal and external APIs and services

– Optimize existing systems for scalability, reliability, and speed

– Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams to deliver stable and efficient solutions

– Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architecture decisions

Requirements:

– 3+ years of professional experience as a backend developer

– Strong background in PHP or Python (experience in both is a plus)

– Excellent understanding of MySQL — query optimization, normalization, schema design

– Solid understanding of HTTP, REST, and server-side application architecture • Experience with caching, logging, and production-level debugging

– Comfortable working in Linux environments and using Git

– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Nice to have:

– Knowledge or experience with Lua

– Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., for automation, code generation, or data analysis)

– Experience with Nginx and web performance tuning

– Understanding of asynchronous processes and queue systems

– Experience with monitoring and profiling tools
