About the Role

We’re building the intelligence layer that powers AI agents for architecture and engineering workflows. As a Senior AI Engineer, you will design, optimize, and scale the systems that enable our platform to understand, analyze, and reason over large volumes of technical documents, drawings, and structured data.

This role blends backend engineering, LLM pipelines, and applied AI research. You will work across RAG systems, agent workflows, data preprocessing, and integration of new foundation model capabilities.

What You’ll Work On

• Build and improve LLM-powered pipelines: comprehension, reasoning, extraction, summarization, Q&A.
• Develop multi-step AI agent workflows
• Architect efficient RAG systems (context management, chunking, prompt optimization).
• Implement scalable ingestion & preprocessing for documents, drawings, and embeddings.
• Evaluate and integrate new foundation models, APIs, and model capabilities.
• Work with backend engineers to ship robust AI services to production.
• Optimize for performance, cost-efficiency, observability, and reliability.

Your Background

• ​​​​5+ years engineering experience with a strong backend or ML systems focus.​​​
• Hands-on experience building LLM or NLP-powered features in production.
• Strong Python skills; experience with FastAPI or similar.
• Experience with AI agents orchestration frameworks
• Knowledge of search systems, embeddings, and modern retrieval patterns.
• Comfortable working with cloud services (AWS preferred)

Nice to Havе

• Experience with model evaluation frameworks.
• Familiarity with vector databases, OpenSearch, or Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge graphs – structures knowledge representation.
