We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer with solid experience in OpenShift to become part of our client’s growing technology department. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, container platforms, and building reliable CI/CD processes.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and optimize OpenShift clusters in production environments.
Support and enhance CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
Build and manage Docker containers and images.
Work with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo).
Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless code integration and deployments.
Monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
Maintain and configure Linux-based systems.
Handle networking and security configurations.
Contribute to automation and Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives.
Must-Have Skills
Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift – focusing on maintenance, operations, and optimization.
Previous experience with Kubernetes.
Proficiency with Docker and containerization workflows.
Solid understanding of CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions).
Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana Suite: Prometheus, Loki, Tempo).
Good Linux administration and shell scripting skills.
Experience with IaC tools — Ansible is strongly recommended.
Familiarity with ESB platforms (we use IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, but prior experience is not required).
Deeper networking knowledge.
