As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for an Integration Solutions Developer in our Business Connectivity team.
The Business Connectivity cluster is responsible for providing middleware and integration solutions as core components of our banking applications. Our cross-platform development, testing and operational teams provide support to the other clusters in their application daily work and lifecycle. We use a wide range of middleware and integration solutions such as Apache Camel, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, Transaction Engine and more, servicing and connecting multiple diverse divisions and clients.
Your tasks:
Analyzing and implementing requirements for the application technology related tasks;
Supporting the migration activities from legacy systems to Apache Camel, IBM MQ and Kafka;
Assisting with the planning and actively participating in the technical setup and configuration activities together with the migration team and PO;
Testing of concepts, solutions and preparing documentation;
Collaborating closely with migration team members, product owners and clients;
Working in an Agile team setup.
Your profile:
5+ years of experience in the administration of heterogeneous client/server environments based on Linux/Unix OS;
Solid experience with integration solutions at a mid-level as a developer with Java;
Experience with Apache Camel will be a strong advantage;
Experience with IBM MQ, Apache Kafka and APIs is a strong advantage;
Experience with BitBucket, TeamCity, NEXUS storage, CI/CD, File Gateway, Dynatrace and Kibana is an advantage;
Experience in participating and / or leading migrations from legacy systems to new application solutions is a strong advantage;
Knowledge and experience as a developer of banking software and processes is an advantage;
Strong customer and service orientation as well as team competency;
Very good structural, analytical, and solution-oriented thinking as well as conceptual skills;
Fluency in English;
University degree in IT or relevant.
