This is why we are expanding our Platform Department team and now looking for some fresh and enthusiastic people to come and join us in the exciting digital world of iGaming.

    Reporting to the Sportsbook Product Manager, the Product Owner role acts as the primary contact with the technical development teams. Embedded within a cross functional team, you will be the representative of the stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.

    Responsibilities:

    • Alongside the Product Manager, maintain and prioritizes product tasks (backlog)
    • Translates product requirements and stakeholder strategy into understandable tasks for developers
    • Acts as a bridge between stakeholders, Product Manager, and development teams to clarify requirements
    • Work alongside with the scrum teams and be part of the delivery process
    • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements
    • Assist in refining and elaborating user stories with clear acceptance criteria
    • Support developers and testers by clarifying requirements
    • Ensures compliance of the product with the regulatory requirements of the various markets, together with the COM team
    • Studies and knows the requirements of the market and customers and identifies possible functional deficiencies in the product
    • Supports the work of developers by providing understandable and detailed functional requirements, in writing and at regular meetings
    • Ensures the quality of the product together with the QA team, discussing with them the functional requirements of the tasks and the appropriate test plans
    • Assists the tech writer in preparing detailed product documentation
    • Maintains a comprehensive roadmap together with other colleagues from the PMO team
    • Reports the status of tasks and plan to the Product Manager

    Our ideal candidate:

    • Understands Sports data structure (statistic types, flow of the game & schedule)
    • Understands how historical data and inputs affect output of mathematical models
    • Data-driven and understands how to peruse historical data to find patterns, back test different models against the same data set
    • Technical enough to read & understand data structures in SQL tables, Swagger API contracts

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree – Computer Science, Information technologies, or relevant
    • Preferably 2 years of experience as a Product Owner
    • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
    • Very good understanding of software delivery life cycle
    • Experience in the creation of mitigation plans, their application, and execution to avoid risks when able and to escalate those to key stakeholders if not avoided
    • Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
    • Can-do attitude, positive, proactive
    • Organized, able to prioritize and resolve critical and complex issues
    • Strong command of the English Language (verbal and written)
    • Product owner certification will be considered an advantage
    • Experience with Sports products or Casino will be considered an advantage
