Java Junior Backend Developer (on-site, office-based)

We are looking for a motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our cross-functional team and grow in a supportive environment. This role is on-site from our office, as close collaboration and mentoring are essential at this stage.

What you bring:

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
• Basic experience or university projects involving software development
• Enthusiasm for designing, implementing, and operating software in close collaboration with the team

Fundamental knowledge in:

• Enterprise Java, Java EE or JEE
• Object-oriented programming
• Software design basics
• REST APIs and client-server concepts
• Relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

Nice to have (not required, but a plus):

• First steps with frameworks: Spring, Quarkus
• Understanding of microservices
• Basic experience with Git, Maven, JUnit
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS or similar)
