You’ll be joining a dedicated team supporting SAP Ariba, a global leader in on-demand procurement, spend management, and supply-chain collaboration solutions. SAP Ariba helps companies of all sizes streamline how they source, contract, procure, pay, and manage supplier relationships through powerful SaaS offerings.

Job Description:

• Actively engage in understanding and refining customer needs and architectural requirements
• Develop comprehensive technical designs and approaches, along with precise effort estimates
• Collaborate with the team on researching and delivering new features
• Handle complex customer issues, often with minimal direct access to their environments
• Partner closely with Development and QA teams within an agile sprint framework
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with distributed teams across multiple locations
• Take part in both formal and informal discussions, including code and design reviews, as well as technical knowledge-sharing sessions
• Provide regular updates on project status to line management

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience
• Experience working with SOAP and RESTful web services
• Web programming skills are a plus (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, etc.)
• Solid understanding of databases
• Familiarity with microservices, Spring Boot, and EclipseLink
• Experience with code quality, refactoring, and applying design patterns and best practices
• Knowledge of development environments, source control, and tracking tools
• Basic experience with Bash
• Advantageous experience with XML technologies such as DOM and SAX
• JSF experience considered a plus
• Very good command of English
